Thank you

I sure have learned a lot this term, especially on Atlantic Puffins and the Internet. I didn't realize how much fun creating a web site could actually be! This project helped me realize how much humans are really destroying the Earth and its animals. Soon, there may not be any Atlantic Puffins! That would not be good. They are just so adorable. Now that I actually know what conservation of this animal means, I can really take charge and hope that some people will help me out in conserving them. That would be GREAT!

Another thing that I learned how to use was GIMP. GIMP is a software that I used to make my first picture under the "Pics." category. It is similar to Photo Shop (if you have ever used it before). You can do a whole lot of cool stuff on there and it is really fun. You should try it out some time! It was very helpful to me in learning all of this.

I also learned how to research better on the Internet. Using quotation marks is something I often use now to narrow down my searches. To get a great variety of photos and lots of information, I went on Google Images and searched there.

I really did enjoy doing this project and I think that everyone should take part in this. I  learned more than I thought I ever could on only one animal. Now, if I'm bored and want to search the Internet, I can go onto Weebly and find one of my friends' sites. It will be fun to see what they cooked up.

So, I'd like to conclude my web site with a special thanks to my science and computer teachers for showing me how to do all of this, helping me along the way, and most of all... assigning this project to me. I really do thank you from the bottom of my heart. See you in school!
